Children’s Creche

During our 10am Sunday service (except during the monthly Family Service) the Children’s Crèche is set up in the Gabriel Room in the Parish Hall for very young children, aged up to 4. An art activity related to a Bible Story will have been prepared (see pictures above), and the children will have a quiet time for prayers. There is time for a snack before they are collected by their parents to go into Church for a blessing, as older people are taking communion. There is a rota and parents to take it in turns to run the creche. For further information on the creche, please contact our Creche Co-ordinator, Lizzie Harris, via the Parish Office.

Crèche blog – Sunday January 29th 2017
This week we focused on nature again and made birds from feathers, with beaks and eyes.  We sang our Hymn again – All Things Bright and Beautiful – and the children are starting to pick up the words. We can’t wait for the Hymnathon!

Sunday February 5th 2017
We welcomed our new helper Milli who’s helping as part of her Duke of Edinburgh Award. In keeping with our nature theme, today we delved to the bottom of the sea and caught lots of fish (see pictures). The children were very creative and made some wonderful pictures. We all sang happily to All Things Bright and Beautiful again.
