Love Music! our charity concert – see highlights!

After last year’s terrific Love Music! concert, we had another great evening of great classical and popular music, in aid of the three St Michael’s charities – Msaada, The Mulberry Centre and The Upper Room. You can now see the video of the highlights, courtesy of

There was something for everyone, performed by professional and amateur local musicians, including:
– Peter Christie, founder member of Instant Sunshine – best known from BBC Radio 4’s Stop the Week – performing some of his best loved songs.
– TV presenter Debbie Flint, who performed as Sheena Easton in the Stars in Their Eyes TV show.
– Violinist Daphne Moody, performing with her professional cellist daughter Bryony
– Local builder Alistair Bown, playing the trumpet
– Well-known local jazz musician Eric Gilchrist, playing some of the great jazz standards with a group of fellow professional musicians.
– and Fr Fabrizio Pesce and Fr Edward Barlow singing a selection of songs – together and with tenor Graham Currie.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for an evening to remember for all music lovers – in aid of three very good causes!
