Chiswick Calendar 2013 - in aid of St Michael
& All Angels' Organ and Parish Rooms Appeal

Chiswick Calendar 2013 coverTreat yourself to a new and truly local Chiswick Calendar for 2013, profits from which will go to St Michael & All Angels’ Organ and Parish Rooms Appeal.

Chiswick-based photographers Jon Perry and Ian Wylie have produced the Chiswick Calendar 2013, donating their time and photos for free.

Printed on high quality photographic paper, it features scenes across W4, including Bedford Park, Chiswick High Road, Strand-on-the-Green, Chiswick House, Turnham Green and Grove Park.

The A4-size calendar will be on sale, price £12, at the Cards for Good Causes shop at St Michael & All Angels from November 1st to mid-December. Please note that it needs to be paid for separately from any cards or other Christmas goods. **See below for other outlets
in Chiswick where it's on sale.

Freelance journalist Ian said: “We hope Chiswick residents and businesses will support this local charity calendar which includes what we believe are some of our best W4 photos.

“I also hope local traders will come forward to help sell the calendar so that as many people as possible can enjoy it - with every penny of profit going to charity.

“With thanks to the team at Snappy Snaps on Chiswick High Road for their help and support.”

Ian and Jon (who works for Royal Mail), first met twenty years ago when their children were at Belmont Primary School together. Their shared love of photography has resulted in this calendar.

Jon was born in the USA - in the same Hawaii hospital as President Obama - but moved to Britain aged seven and has lived in Chiswick since 1984.

Jon says "I had the very lucky chance to study photography from age 14. I was already hooked on drawing and painting from a very young age."

Ian is a well-known journalist who has lived in Chiswick for thirty years. A former London Editor and TV Editor of the Manchester Evening News/MEN media, he writes for a range of publications and has covered many prestigious stories, including the royal wedding last year where he was one of only 28 journalists allowed to cover the ceremony.

Father Kevin Morris, vicar of St Michael & All Angels, said: “We’re very grateful to Ian and Jon for producing these wonderful images of Chiswick - and kindly donating the profits to our Organ and Parish Rooms Appeal.

“It’s about time that Chiswick had its own calendar and we hope that lots of people will buy it!”
