How to Bid - Online Auction

The Advent Calendar pictures will be auctioned in an Online Auction, from Sunday 24th December 2023 to Sunday 7th January 2024.The artists are generously donating at least a third of the sale price to our Christmas Charity Appeal.

1. Bids must be made online via a computer or mobile device on the Auction site – https://www.32auctions.com/advent2023. The top bids will be regularly updated on this Advent Calendar website, till midnight on Saturday 6th January 2024. See the latest bids
2. You will need to log in with a name and password (you may have one from a previous St Michael & All Angels online auction).
3. There is one page for each of the 24 works, describing the artist and the work, and each has a reserve price, set by the artist.
4. Each bid must exceed the previous one by a minimum of £5.
5. Place your bid on the picture’s webpage. Please keep a note of your bid. You will be informed if you have been outbid.
6. The auction will close at 12 Noon on Sunday 7th January 2024, during an auction party in St Michael & All Angels Church & Parish Hall, starting at 11.15am. Final bids may be made up till then.
7. The pictures will be taken down from the calendar frame in sequence: Days 1 to 8 at 12 Noon; Days 9 to 16 at 12.10pm; Days 17 to 24 at 12.20pm.
8. Works must be paid for before being taken away. We can take cheques or cards.
9. Works not collected at the closing party may be collected from St Michael & All Angels Parish Office by arrangement with the Parish Manager on 020 8994 1380.
10. At least one-third of the purchase price of each work is kindly being donated by the artists to the St Michael & All Angels Christmas Appeal. Our thanks to them all.
11. Three charities will benefit from the Appeal: The Upper Room, feeding the community in need in West London; Swinfen Telemedicine, a platform for communicating healthcare worldwide; and Chiswick Crosslight, which provides debt advice and budgeting support.
