Entries open for Green Days Marmalade Competition

Seville oranges are in the shops and you can now enter the marmalade-making competition for the 50th Bedford Park Festival in June. First prize is a £75 voucher for Marmalade Jewellery in Turnham Green Terrace, where you can pick up an entry form and rules. There are three categories and the judges will be Lucy McDonald of Crumbs TV (above left) and Natalie Bayliss of Turnham Green (above right). Entries close on Tuesday June 7th. Buy your oranges now before they disappear from the shops.

Please make an extra jar to sell on the cake stall at Green Days weekend (Saturday June 11th) when the prizes will be presented. And if you have spare empty jars with lids, for marmalade to sell, please bring them to the Parish Office. Profits from Green Days and the Festival are donated to our three charities for 2016 and St Michael & All Angels, which organises the event for the community.
