Dear All,
1. Thank you to everyone who came to the Advent Calendar party last Sunday and bid for pictures in aid of St Michael's Christmas Appeal - and also to the artists, who generously donated at least a third of the sale price to the Appeal. You can see some of them pictured at the party here: http://smaaa.org.uk
The Silent Auction raised over £1,200 for the Appeal, more than in 2007 and 2005, and sponsorship took the total to more than £1,500. You can see the winning bids here: http://smaaa.org.uk/advent/artists.php
The final results of the Appeal, including the collections at Christmas services, will be published when they've been ratified by the PCC later this month.

Seville oranges are now in the shops and we'll be holding a marmalade making competition in the run-up to this year's Bedford Park Festival, organised with Marmalade Jewellery in Turnham Green Terrace. More details shortly, but we'd like to assess likely numbers, so please let me know if you might like to take part.
And a reminder for your diaries that Green Days will be on the second weekend in June, as usual - Saturday June 12th and Sunday June 13th 2010 - kicking off the Festival, which will run till Sunday June 27th. http://www.smaaa.org.uk/festival/index.html

Best
Torin
